In short: Spain Mortgage Calculator is an independent, free-to-use platform. We may earn compensation when a user chooses to contact a partner broker, but commercial relationships never change our compatibility scoring or editorial content. We are not a broker, lender, financial adviser, lawyer or tax adviser.

How we make money
The platform is free for users. We sustain it through commercial relationships with selected broker partners. These may take the form of a fixed listing fee, a per-qualified-lead fee, or a hybrid of the two, and apply only when a user independently chooses to contact a partner.
What is sponsored — and how you can tell
- Sponsored or paid placements are always clearly labelled as such.
- Compatibility scoring is rule-based and identical for sponsored and non-sponsored listings.
- Paid visibility can affect placement order, but never the underlying compatibility assessment.
- Editorial guides and educational content are kept separate from commercial arrangements.

- The accuracy or framing of our educational content and guides.
- Our calculators and the assumptions they use.
- Your freedom to independently choose and verify any professional you contact.

Content is authored and reviewed under the direction of Susan Hobbelin, our primary author and editorial authority, as an independent editor and relocation content creator — not as a mortgage broker, financial adviser, lender, lawyer or tax adviser.
